You may choose one of the designs pictured or if you have art work you would like to be wood burned, you may submit it; upon approval, the artist will render your artwork onto a Montana Woodworks item of your choice. Items to be wood burned must have a flat surface appropriate for the size and style of work to be performed, i.e., footstool, table top, chair seat, etc.
Custom wood burned items are calculated at $0.14 per square inch as measured from outside border to outside border. For example, to determine the cost of a wood burned item, measure along the verticle side of the image and then along the horizontal. Multiply the two measurements. This is the total square inches to be burned. Multiply the total square inches by $0.14 and combine the sum with the cost of the item the image is to be burned on.
See image "How to Determine Cost" for a visual representation of calculating square inches.
